ComAITe is a French company specializing in cloud, data management and IT infrastructures. It helps companies deploy scalable solutions, manage large volumes of data and optimize their systems through consulting services and tailor-made solutions.

Challenges

ComAITe had a major challenge in providing high-quality cloud services to demanding customers, while ensuring the continuous availability of their e-commerce sites and reducing lost sales. Scaleway enabled them to deploy robust IaaS solutions based on Dedibox servers, complemented by Elements services. Thanks to this infrastructure, they can now support their customers 24/7, guaranteeing high availability and optimum resilience of their sites.

Results

ComAITe 's hosting infrastructure is now based on Proxmox clusters made up of Dediboxes. The need to guarantee their customers data localization in France made Scaleway the most suitable solution for them. “Switching to the new Core9L offering will enable us to achieve savings of 13%, while offering higher-performance services thanks to machines equipped with faster processors and NVMe disks. Performance tests on VMs deployed in their hyperconverged infrastructures show a 70% higher performance in terms of pure computation”, allowing customers to get faster, more reliable and cost-effective services

Future Plans

ComAITe 's next steps are to further “exploit the support and quality of the products and services at Scaleway”. They would like to further explore Elements services (such as block storage and Kapsule) to extend their on-demand computing capacity. This will enable them to absorb occasional peak loads without having to systematically provision a large number of Core9L servers. At the same time, they are looking forward to implementing an interconnection between the Dedibox RPN, VPCs and Public Gateways to improve the integration and flexibility of their infrastructure.
