Exoway is a SaaS platform designed for cloud architects, DevOps engineers, and SREs to help them diagram and deploy their infrastructure in a single step.
To maintain impeccable online service, the Exoway team was seeking a cloud provider that adhered to cloud sovereignty guidelines in France and offered high-quality service with genuine commitment and personalized support.

What cloud problems have they faced before?

Exoway is a project by GetCaas, a company specializing in the development of SaaS solutions, IT management, and the launch of new architectures for its clients. Xavier and Mickaël, the two co-founders, have a deep understanding of the current cloud market and the challenges they faced in previous projects for their clients.

The main concern was the excessive dependence on a single provider, which increased risks and limited flexibility. Additionally, with other providers, they encountered limitations in infrastructure management and resource provisioning, often requiring the purchase of costly and complex bare-metal hardware.

How did they build your architecture?

Exoway built its architecture by leveraging Scaleway's schematics and utilizing the platform's flexible and scalable resources:
Experimentation and Remote Provisioning: Developers can provision containers on-demand to test new features and then remove them when they are no longer needed.
Centralization of Processes: The entire internal infrastructure, including code analysis, security systems, and file generation, relies on Scaleway.
User Interface: The entire user interface and HTTPS access are managed by Scaleway, except for the database.

Why they did not choose a competitor?

Results

The time required to provision resources has been slashed from several days to just a few minutes. What used to take 2 days now takes only 2 to 3 minutes.
For GetCaas, we already back up over 20 TB of data daily on Scaleway servers, with fully optimized cost management. We manage only about fifteen servers, whereas we would need twice that without Scaleway's resource optimization. This has reduced costs from around $50 to just a few cents.
