Three web application servers process user requests behind a load balancer, while a database server manages data storage and retrieval for the web application servers.
The database cluster is deployed on three Elastic Metal machines using the private network for high availability. RavenDB is used for clustering, and hourly backups are configured for production databases sent to Object Storage.
The preview environment uses the same design, but with smaller compute instances for cost savings.
