How to create a Block Storage volume from a snapshot

To complete the actions presented below, you must have:

• A Scaleway account logged into the console
• Owner status or IAM permissions allowing you to perform actions in the intended Organization
• Created a Block Storage volume
• Created a snapshot

1. Click Block Storage in the Storage section of the Scaleway console side menu. The Block Storage page displays.
2. Click the Snapshots tab.
3. Click «See more Icon» > Volume from snapshot next to the snapshot of your choice. A pop-up displays.
4. Enter a name for the new volume, or leave the suggested name.
5. Select an IOPS.
   Important

   You cannot edit the IOPS after you create your volume.

6. Click Create volume from snapshot.

The new volume appears in your volumes list.
