How to manage and delete a Distributed Data Lab

This page explains how to manage and delete your Distributed Data Lab.

Before you start

To complete the actions presented below, you must have:

  • A Scaleway account logged into the console
  • Owner status or IAM permissions allowing you to perform actions in the intended Organization
  • Signed up to the private beta and received a confirmation email.
  • Created a Distributed Data Lab cluster

How to manage a Distributed Data Lab

  1. Click Data Lab under Managed Services on the side menu. The Distributed Data Lab page displays.

  2. Click the name of the Data Lab cluster you want to manage. The overview tab of the cluster displays. From this view, you can see the configuration of your cluster.

  3. Click the Settings tab.

  4. From this view, you can:

  • Add, consult, or delete tags for your cluster.
  • Delete your Data Lab cluster.
Note

Once you have created a Data Lab cluster, you cannot edit its parameters, such as the node type, or its computing resources. You must create a new Data Lab cluster instead.

How to delete a Distributed Data Lab

Important

This action is irreversible and will permanently delete this Data Lab cluster and all its associated data.

  1. Click Data Lab under Managed Services on the side menu. The Distributed Data Lab page displays.

  2. Click the name of the Data Lab cluster you want to delete. The Overview tab of the cluster displays.

  3. Click the Settings tab, then select Delete cluster.

  4. Enter DELETE in the confirmation pop-up to confirm your action.

  5. Click Delete Data Lab cluster.

Note

You can also delete a Data Lab cluster by clicking «See more Icon» next to its name, then Delete.
