How to lock an internal domain

This page shows you how to lock your Scaleway Domains and DNS domains to avoid any unsolicited outgoing transfer. Find out how to unlock an internal domain in the dedicated documentation.

To complete the actions presented below, you must have:

  • A Scaleway account logged into the console
  • Owner status or IAM permissions allowing you to perform actions in the intended Organization
  • An internal domain registered with Scaleway Domains and DNS

How to lock a domain nameLink to this anchor

  1. Click Domains and DNS in the Network section of the Scaleway console side menu. The Domains and DNS dashboard displays.
  2. Click the domain name you want to lock. The domain’s Overview tab displays.
  3. Click Lock under Transfer in the Domain Information section. A confirmation pop-up displays.
  4. Click Lock to confirm.

The operation might take a few minutes to complete.
